A liner for unvulcanized rubber members which ensures the tackiness of the unvulcanized rubber members and has excellent durability. The liner (10) for unvulcanized rubber members is a plain weave fabric in which the weft (14) is a split yarn formed from a resin film, the split yarn having a smooth surface and a fiber diameter of 1,000-1,330 dtex.  As the warp (12) is used a multifilament yarn that is linear and thin.  Since the weft (14) is the split yarn having a smooth surface, the surface of an unvulcanized rubber member (16) which has come into contact with the weft (14) gets smooth.  Meanwhile, the multifilament yarn as the warp (12) has a minimum area of contact with the unvulcanized rubber member (16).  Consequently, as compared with the case where liners constituted of a conventional plain weave fabric are used, the surface of the unvulcanized rubber member is wholly smoothed and, hence, the liner has satisfactory release properties and can keep the tackiness of the unvulcanized rubber member satisfactory.  The liner has high durability because there is no need of coating or otherwise treating the liner surface.
