Abstract:
Provided is a link mechanism actuator for an internal combustion engine capable of improving the durability of a wave reduction gear or a bearing. The link mechanism actuator for an internal combustion engine according to the present invention is provided with a housing comprising a bearing that rotatably supports a control shaft and a wave reduction gear that reduces the rotational speed of an output shaft connected to a drive motor and transmits to the control shaft, and is provided with a restricting mechanism for restricting movement of the control shaft toward the wave reduction gear side in the axial direction by contacting one of the control shaft and the housing with the other of the control shaft and the housing.
