Abstract:

A compact and highly rigid link operating device having link mechanisms with a large load capacity, comprising the three sets of link mechanisms in which end link members are rotatably connected to link hubs provided on an input member and an output member and the end link members on the input and output sides are rotatably connected to a center link member, wherein the input and output sides of each of the link mechanisms are geometrically identical to each other in the cross section of each of the link mechanisms at the center part, and a stationary mechanism for making standstill the output member at any position is installed in the revolute pair part of the two sets of link mechanisms among the revolute parts of the link mechanisms connected to the input members.
