Abstract:
Provided are toys from which characters can be learned naturally.
Each linking toy comprises a flat piece which has a shape based on a square with four sides of equal length. A character is transcribed on one face of the flat piece. A first recess (R1) is formed on a first side (L1) of the flat piece; a second recess (R2) is formed on a fourth side (L4) so that the flat piece has line symmetry about a first diagonal line (DL1); a first projection (P1) that fits into the second recess (R2) is formed on a second side (L2) in a location opposite the second recess (R2); and a second projection (P2) is formed on a third side (L3) so that the flat piece has line symmetry about the first diagonal line (DL1).
