Abstract:
A lip cosmetic application device (1) is provided with a cosmetic applicator (2) which applies a cosmetic (4) to the lips and a container (3) which contains the cosmetic (4), and the applicator (2) can extend from and retract into the container (3) through the mouth section (33) of the container (3). The applicator (2) is provided with: an application section (21) which has an application surface (21A) for applying the cosmetic (4) and comprises a flat body; and a support shaft (22) which has the application section (21) connected to the front end of the support shaft (22). The application section (21) has, in a front view thereof, a widest section (21E). The width of the application section (21) is gradually reduced from the widest section (21E) toward the front end of the application section (21), and the application surface (21A) is a recessed surface having a recessed section (21C) formed at the center of the application surface (21A).
