Title:
LIQUEFIED GAS FUEL SUPPLY SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/163717
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Through a fuel gas supply pipe 20, a boil-off gas (NBOG) naturally generated from liquefied gas stored in a cargo tank 14 is supplied to a main machine 12 as a fuel gas. The liquefied gas in the cargo tank 14 is pumped up by means of a liquid pump 34 and is forcibly vaporized by means of a forced vaporizer 36, so that the resultant gas can be supplied to the main machine 12 as a fuel gas. Of the fuel gas supplied to the main machine 12, a surplus gas is recovered via a gas recovery pipe 26 and reliquefied through a BOG recovery device 22 and an expansion valve 28 for return to the cargo tank 14. By operating the forced vaporizer 36 and a reliquefying means simultaneously, the settable range of a vessel speed is expanded.
