Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a liquid absorbent that is not susceptible to the occurrence of uneven SAP distribution even without complex production steps, structures, etc. such as heat treatment, embossing or establishing of partitions using intermediate sheets after production of the liquid absorbent. The purpose is achieved by a liquid absorbent having synthetic pulp and a polymer absorbent trapped in the synthetic pulp. The synthetic pulp is an aggregate of microfibril fibers made of a resin with MFR of 0.1 g/10min to 200 g/10 min, average fiber length of 0.05 mm to 50 mm, minimum fiber diameter of 0.5 µm and maximum fiber diameter of 50 µm. The Canadian freeness of the synthetic pulp is 340 mL to 740 mL.
