Abstract:
This liquid administration device (10) is provided with: an inner tube (1); a needle tube (2); a gasket (3); a liquid (Q); an outer tube (4); a plunger (11) that presses the gasket (3) in the direction towards the tip thereof, performing the pressing operation until a discharge completion position at which the liquid (Q) is finished being discharged from the needle tube (2); a restricting means (30) that can restrict the pressing operation with respect to the plunger (11); and a cover member (6) that can move between a first position that covers at least the needle tip (21) of the needle tube (2) and a second position that is retreated from the first position in the direction of the base thereof, exposing the needle tip (21). In an unused state, the cover member (6) is at the first position and the plunger (11) is restricted with respect to pressing by means of the restricting means (30), and when the cover member (6) has been moved to the second position from the unused state, the cover member (6) releases the restriction of the pressing operation resulting from the restricting means (30), enabling the pressing operation.
