Abstract:
This modular liquid chromatography analysis system configured through the combination of a plurality of modules at least comprises, as the modules, a liquid delivery device (2) having liquid delivery pumps (12, 12a, 12b) for delivering a plurality of types of solvents as a mobile phase, an autosampler (4) for injecting a sample into the mobile phase delivered by the liquid delivery device (2), and a column oven (6) accommodating a separation column (20) for separating each component of the sample injected into the mobile phase by the autosampler (4). The liquid chromatography analysis system also comprises a mixer (18) for mixing the plurality of types of solvents, a system capacity retention unit (24) for retaining a system capacity that is an internal system capacity influencing the time required for the mobile phase sent out from the mixer (18) to reach the sample temporarily stored in the autosampler (4), and an injection timing determination unit (30) for using the system capacity retained by the system capacity retention unit (24) to determine the timing at which the sample is to be injected by the autosampler (6). The sample injection by the autosampler (4) is carried out at the injection timing determined by the injection timing determination unit (30).
