Abstract:
Provided are a liquid collection device, wherein a liquid collection conduit can be swirled without using external power and by this means liquid within a liquid tank can be collected efficiently without local retention within the liquid tank, and an upflow filtration device provided with the same. A water collection device 15 is configured so as to be provided with: water collection conduits 21 that are floated rotatably around a vertical axis B in clean water within a main filtration tank 4, are provided with water collection openings 22 provided in parts separate from the vertical axis B in any one of side plates 21a facing each other across a center line C orthogonal to the vertical axis B, and are swirled around the vertical axis B by a water pressure differential acting on the outside surface of the two side plates 21a; and water discharge pipes 16, 23 one end of which is connected to the water collection conduits 21, the other end of which is disposed on the outside of the main filtration tank 4, and that discharge clean water A collected within the water collection conduit 21 to the outside of the main filtration tank 4.
