Abstract:
Provided is a composition which exhibits a strong sterilizing or bacteriostatic effect as a liquid, while not being very bitter or sour. This liquid composition for bacteriostasis or sterilization contains one or more types selected from caprylic acid monoglyceride and capric acid monoglyceride, also contains an ultraphosphate, exhibits a total caprylic acid monoglyceride and capric acid monoglyceride concentration of 0.05 mass% or more, and exhibits a pH of 3.5 or less.
