Abstract:
A liquid composition for surface treatments which comprises a fluoropolyether-group-containing silane compound, a fluoroalkyl-group-containing silane compound, and a solvent, wherein the fluoropolyether-group-containing silane compound and the fluoroalkyl-group-containing silane compound have an average hydrodynamic diameter, as determined by a dynamic light scattering method, of 1-1500 nm, the average hydrodynamic diameter being a value obtained by mixing a liquid mixture comprising the solvent containing 50 mass% the fluoropolyether-group-containing silane compound with the fluoroalkyl-group-containing silane compound in the same proportions as the fluoropolyether-group-containing silane compound and the fluoroalkyl-group-containing silane compound in the liquid composition, allowing the resultant mixture to stand still until the temperature becomes 25°C, and making a measurement.
