Provided are a liquid container that can stably supply a fluid contained in a liquid container chamber toward a liquid consumption unit, and a liquid consumption device provided with the liquid container. The liquid container is provided with: an ink chamber containing ink supplied to an ink-consuming liquid spraying head via a tube; a guide opening (59) for guiding the ink contained in the ink chamber toward the tube; a filling opening (52) via which the ink chamber can be filled with ink; and an air inlet (60) for letting in air into the ink chamber from an upper position above the level of ink contained in the ink chamber in an upper-lower direction (Z). The liquid container includes a region such that, when an amount of ink corresponding to 5% of the amount of ink that can be contained in the ink chamber is guided out via the guide opening (59), the margin of fluctuation of the ink level in the ink chamber is not more than 5% of the cubic root of the amount of ink contained.
