Abstract:
This liquid container (52) is provided with: a liquid accommodation part (55) in which ink is accommodated; and a spout (56) provided with a passage (56a) which is opened and closed in accordance with relative attachment/detachment of an object (33) to be connected which will become a discharge tip for the ink accommodated in the liquid accommodation part (55). The spout (56) is provided with: a contact surface (75) which has an opening (72a) leading to the passage (56a), and which, during attachment of the object (33) to be connected, is brought into contact with the object (33) to be connected; and liquid grooves (76) which are provided in the contact surface (75), and which, during detachment of the object (33) to be connected, hold adhered ink and guide said adhered ink to the opening (72a).
