Abstract:
The present invention provides a liquid cosmetic preparation that is suitable for application with liquid-cosmetic applicators in which a brush or a pen core is used as a means for application and that has satisfactory water resistance and excellent adhesion to the skin, gives a matte feeling with no glittering, and is suitable for eye liners, eye brows, etc. The liquid cosmetic preparation comprises carbon black, water, 0.5-5 mass% dispersant that comprises a film-forming resin, 2-15 mass% (on a solid basis) film-forming agent, up to 0.5 mass% surfactant, and xanthan gum or a hydroxyethyl acrylate/sodium acryloyldimethyltaurine copolymer as an ingredient that produces a matte effect. The cosmetic preparation gives a glossiness of 6.5 or less and has a viscosity, as measured with an EMD-type viscometer at 25ºC and a shear rate of 76.8 s-1, of 10-270 mPa·s.
