Abstract:
Provided are: a liquid crystal alignment agent which can enhance the adhesion between a sealant and a liquid crystal alignment film and suppress the occurrence of display unevenness in the vicinity of the frame of a liquid crystal display element even under high temperature and high humidity conditions, and which at times is used for mobile devices; a liquid crystal alignment film; and a liquid crystal display element. The liquid crystal alignment agent is characterized by containing components (A) and (B) below and an organic solvent. Component (A): a polymer having the ability to form a polymer film and align liquid crystals by alignment treatment. Component (B): a compound having an aliphatic skeleton and having three or more epoxy groups.
