Title:
LIQUID CRYSTAL CELL AND 3D-STRUCTURED LIQUID CRYSTAL CELL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/038823
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a liquid crystal cell in which the liquid crystal molecules do not infiltrate a plastic substrate even when the plastic substrate has considerably deformed in commensurate fashion to stretching or contraction, and a 3D-structured liquid crystal cell that uses the liquid crystal cell. The liquid crystal cell of the present invention is a heat shrinkable film having at least two plastic substrates and a liquid crystal layer, and in which at least one of the plastic substrates has a heat shrinkability of 5-75%; the liquid crystal cell furthermore having a polymer layer in which a composition containing a monofunctional (meth)acrylate having a hydrophilic group is polymerized between the liquid crystal layer and at least one plastic substrate, and the maximum wavelength of absorption of the monofunctional (meth)acrylate being 190-250 nm.
