Abstract:
The present invention provides: a liquid crystal composite body that is suitable for light control and contains a liquid crystal composition which satisfies at least one of characteristics including a high upper limit temperature, a low lower limit temperature, a low viscosity, a large optical anisotropy and a large positive dielectric anisotropy, or which has an adequate balance between at least two of these characteristics; and a liquid crystal light control element which comprises this liquid crystal composite body. A liquid crystal composite body which contains a polymer and a liquid crystal composition that contains a dichroic dye and a specific compound having a large positive dielectric anisotropy; and this liquid crystal composite body may additionally contain a specific compound that has a high upper limit temperature or a low lower limit temperature.
