Abstract:
This liquid crystal composition containing a polymerizable compound has the superior characteristics of not having a problem of deposits in a wide range of temperatures, having a rapid polymerization rate, having high liquid crystal anchoring force after polymerization, having superior quality of display appearance without display variations and the like, and being able to be fabricated into a PSA type liquid crystal display element that has superior display characteristics in which burn-in and other defects in display characteristics do not occur. This liquid crystal composition containing a polymerizable compound is suitable as a practical liquid crystal composition. In addition, a liquid crystal element using the same can be suitably used in PSA type liquid crystal elements.
