Abstract:
[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a liquid crystal composition including a polymerizable compound with which a sufficient pretilt angle can be formed within a short period of time and which is for producing a highly reliable PSA- or PSVA-type liquid crystal display element; and a liquid crystal display element using the liquid crystal composition. [Solution] The present invention is a liquid crystal composition including: one or more kinds of polymerizable compounds represented by general formula (I); and one or more kinds of compounds selected from the group consisting of compounds represented by general formula (N-1) and compounds represented by general formula (J).
