Abstract:
The present invention provides a liquid crystal composition capable of maintaining excellent surface conditions and the orientation of a manufactured optically anisotropic layer even when adopting relaxed aging criteria, an optically anisotropic layer formed by using the liquid crystal composition, an optical laminate, and an image display device. The liquid crystal composition contains a liquid crystalline compound, a photo alignment compound, and a polymer formed by polymerizing monomers having two or more radical polymerizable double bonds and one or more hydroxyl groups.
