Abstract:
The first problem that the present invention addresses is to provide a liquid crystal composition that has superior planar properties when used as a coating film, and can form a reflective layer with superior diffuse reflection. The second problem that the present invention addresses is to provide a reflective layer that is formed using said liquid crystal composition, as well as a manufacturing method for said reflective layer. The third problem that the present invention further addresses is to provide a copolymer that can be used as an alignment control agent for a liquid crystal compound. This liquid crystal composition includes a polymerizable liquid crystal compound and a copolymer with a prescribed structure.
