Abstract:
A liquid crystal display apparatus, comprising a display panel (50) with an angle of view which is switchable, and a drive circuit (60) for driving the display panel (50). The display panel (50) is switchable between a wide angle of view and a narrow angle of view. The drive circuit (60) comprises a display control unit (61), an angle of view control unit (62), an angle of view control voltage generation circuit (63), a Gamma voltage generation circuit (64), a source driver (65) and a gate driver (66). The angle of view control unit (62) is connected to the display control unit (61), the angle of view control voltage generation circuit (63) and the Gamma voltage generation circuit (64). The source driver (65) is connected to the display control unit (61) and the Gamma voltage generation circuit (64). The gate driver (66) is connected to the display control unit (61). The display control unit (61) is used for controlling the display panel (50) so same realizes picture display. The angle of view control unit (62) is used for controlling the display panel (50) so same switches the display between the wide angle of view and the narrow angle of view.
