Abstract:
A liquid crystal display device (10) and a backlight system (11). The backlight system (11) comprises a back panel (111), an optical film (113), and a protection component (112). The back panel (111) comprises at least two main connecting pieces (21), where at least one of the main connecting pieces (21) comprises a bottom panel (1111) and a top panel (1113). The protection component (112) comprises a first protection part (1121) and a second protection part (1122). The protection component (112) is fixed at the top panel (1113). With this, the first protection part (1121) is arranged at the upper surface of the top panel (1113) and is for use in spacing apart the top panel (1113) from a liquid crystal panel (12) above the top panel (1113), while the second protection part (1122) is arranged at the lower surface of the top panel (1113) and is for use in spacing apart the top panel (1113) from the optical film (113). This scheme allows for increased efficiency in assembling the backlight system (11) and for reduced labor costs, and prevents the risks of the liquid crystal panel (12) and the optical film (113) being scratched when assembling the backlight system (11).
