Abstract:
According to an embodiment, a liquid crystal display device (1) is provided with: a shift register unit (161) which sequentially receives image signals, each having an s bit width, in a number equal to the number of columns of a plurality of pixels (12); a one-line latch unit (162) which outputs, at once, the plurality of image signals received from the shift register unit (161); a comparator unit (163) which respectively converts the plurality of image signals output from the one line latch unit (162) into a plurality of analog voltages; and an analog switch unit (17) which switches whether to respectively provide the plurality of analog voltages to a plurality of data lines, wherein the one line latch unit (162) is disposed near the comparator unit (163) so that the length of a signal line propagating a bit signal of the least significant bit among a plurality of bit signals forming the image signal becomes shorter than at least a signal line propagating a bit signal of the most significant bit signal.
