Abstract:

The present invention provides a liquid crystal display device comprising: an opposing substrate (100) that includes a first transparent substrate (10), a first wiring layer (3) which includes a stacked structure of a black layer (1) and a first metal layer (2), and a plurality of terminal parts (11); a liquid crystal layer (30); and an array substrate (200) which includes a second transparent substrate (20), an active element (51), a second wiring layer (23) formed by a second metal layer, and a light blocking pattern (59). In the opposing substrate (100), the first wiring layer (3), a black matrix (4), and a first transparent resin layer (6) are stacked in that order. A line width of the black matrix (4) is larger than a line width (M1W) of the first wiring layer (3), and the black matrix overlaps the first wiring layer (3) so as to include the pattern of the first wiring layer (3). The active element (51) is covered by the light blocking pattern (59) via a first insulation layer, and by detecting a change in the electrostatic capacitance generated between the first wiring layer (3) and the second wiring layer (23), the active element carries out touch sensing.
