Abstract:
An active matrix substrate (12A) of this liquid crystal display device (10) comprises: a pair of driving electrodes (32A, 32B) which are arranged in each pixel; a pixel electrode (36) which is provided in each pixel; a first switching element (34A) which is connected to the driving electrode (32A); a second switching element (34B) which is connected to the driving electrodes (32B); a third switching element (34C) which is connected to the pixel electrode (36); a first source line (30A) which is connected to the group of first switching elements (34); a second source line (30B) which is connected to the group of second switching elements (34B); a third source line (30C) which is connected to the group of third switching elements (34C); and a plurality of gate lines (28).
