Abstract:
The present invention addresses the issue of providing a tiled liquid crystal display device that has good uniformity of brightness and a wide color gamut. This liquid crystal display device has at least a first polarizing plate, a liquid crystal cell, a second polarizing plate, and a backlight unit that are laminated in order from the viewing side and is characterized by: the backlight unit comprising a plurality of LED modules disposed therein; the LED modules comprising a plurality of LED elements having LED chips that have a long side of no more than 400 μm; and comprising a resin film that contains at least two types of hue adjusting agent between the backlight unit and the second polarizing plate or in the second polarizing plate.
