Abstract:
Provided is a liquid crystal display panel that enables continuous confirmation of whether the sticking position of a polarizing plate is appropriate while assuring designing freedom. A liquid crystal display panel (10) is configured such that two recessed parts (BMa1) and two island parts (BMa2) are provided to the edge of a black matrix (BM), and two recessed parts (3a) and two recessed parts (4a) are also provided at positions coinciding with the two recessed parts (BMa1) and the two island parts (BMa2) in the edges of a back polarizing plate (3) and a front polarizing plate (4).
