Abstract:
A liquid crystal display panel (100) and a forming method thereof. The liquid crystal display panel (100) includes a thin film transistor substrate (200), an opposite substrate (300) and a liquid crystal layer (400). The liquid crystal layer (400) is provided between the thin film transistor substrate (200) and the opposite substrate (300). The opposite substrate (300) includes a plurality of main spacers (360) and a plurality of auxiliary spacers (370). The plurality of main spacers (360) are used for maintaining the space between the thin film transistor substrate (200) and the opposite substrate (300). The thin film transistor substrate (200) includes a plurality of thin film transistors (220). A plurality of colour filter layers (230) are located on the plurality of thin film transistors (220) and provided with a plurality of recess areas (233). The locations of the plurality of auxiliary spacers (370) are provided to align with the plurality of recess areas (233), and the auxiliary spacers (370) are not in contact with the thin film transistor substrate (200). When injecting liquid crystal, the liquid crystal display panel (100) can control the thickness of the liquid crystal layer (400), and when being extruded by an external force, the optical properties will not be changed to cause non-uniformity problems.
