Abstract:
A liquid crystal display panel and a manufacturing method therefor. The panel comprises a first substrate (20), a second substrate (10) and a liquid crystal layer; the second substrate (10) and the first substrate (20) are oppositely arranged; and the liquid crystal layer comprises a plurality of liquid crystal molecules and colour quantum rods (32, 33, 34) mixed in the liquid crystal molecules, wherein the colour quantum rods (32, 33, 34) and the liquid crystal molecules all have a long axis, and the direction of the long axis of the colour quantum rods (32, 33, 34) is the same as that of the liquid crystal molecules.
