Abstract:
A liquid crystal lens (100), a manufacturing method therefor, and a display device. The liquid crystal lens (100) comprises: a first substrate (101) and a second substrate (102) provided opposite the first substrate (101); a first electrode (103) provided on the first substrate (101); a delaying layer (104) provided on the side of the first substrate (101) facing the second substrate (102), the delaying layer (104) comprising multiple steps (105) of different heights; a second electrode (106) provided on the second substrate (102), the second electrode (106) being provided opposite the first electrode (103), the second electrode (106) comprising multiple subelectrodes (107), the multiple subelectrodes (107) corresponding one-to-one to the multiple steps (105); the width of the subelectrodes (107) is smaller than the width of the steps (105) corresponding to the subelectrodes (107); gaps (108) provided between adjacent two subelectrodes (107), the gaps (108) being aligned at one edge thereof to the stepping point of two adjacent steps (105); and liquid crystals (109) filled between the delaying layer (104) and the second substrate (102). Improved is an optical delay offset in the inter-electrode gap part, thus increasing the performance of the liquid crystal lens.
