Abstract:
A liquid crystal lens (1) includes: a first electrode layer where a first electrode (11) is formed; a liquid crystal layer (13); and a second electrode layer where a second electrode (14) is formed to oppose to the first electrode via the liquid crystal layer, wherein a predetermined voltage is applied between the first electrode and the second electrode. The potential difference between the first and the second electrode in the liquid crystal layer is different between the central portion and the peripheral portion and the potential difference in the central portion is greater.
