Abstract:
The present invention provides a liquid crystal medium composition, which is prepared from a negative liquid crystal material; at least one type of polymerizable monomer on which a polymerization reaction can be caused under ultraviolet irradiation; and at least one auxiliary alignment agent, the auxiliary alignment agent comprising a polar part and a non-polar part, and the polar part being connected to the non-polar part through a linking group. By means of the liquid crystal medium composition of the present invention, by improving a liquid crystal material, vertical alignment can be realized under a non-PI alignment layer.
