Abstract:
A liquid crystal panel (10) characterized by comprising: a liquid crystal layer (13); a pair of substrates (11, 12); a sealing part (16) which is arranged in a peripheral edge part (10a) provided between the substrates (11, 12) for the purpose of holding the liquid crystal layer (13) between the substrates (11, 12); alignment films (48, 58); and barrier parts (49, 59) each of which is made of the same material as that forms the alignment films (48, 58), is arranged in the inner vicinity of the sealing part (16) and has a thickness larger than those of the alignment films (48, 58).
