Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a liquid crystal panel in which, even when a polarizing film including a transparent protective film having a specific moisture permeability, and a liquid crystal cell coated with a metal-containing transparent conductive layer are laminated together with an adhesive layer that is interposed therebetween and contains an ionic compound as a conductive agent, dynamic scattering caused by humidification (high humidity and high temperature) of the adhesive layer is suppressed, durability (suppression of foaming/peeling) of the adhesive layer is improved, and corrosion of the transparent conductive layer and an increase in the surface resistance of the transparent conductive layer are suppressed; and an image display device including the liquid crystal panel. This liquid crystal panel has an adhesive layer-coated polarizing film which has: a polarizing film having a polarizer and a transparent protective film disposed on at least one face of the polarizer; and an adhesive layer which is made of an adhesive composition and formed on at least one face of the polarizing film, wherein the polarizing film is bonded to a liquid crystal cell with the adhesive layer therebetween, the liquid crystal cell being coated with a metal-containing transparent conductive layer. The liquid crystal panel is characterized in that the moisture permeability of the transparent protective film at 40°C and 92% RH is 1000 g/(m2·24h) or less, the adhesive composition contains an ionic compound, and the haze value difference represented by the following equation is 5.0% or less for the adhesive layer. Equation = [(haze value (%)after being adhered to glass, placed in conditions of 60°C and 95% RH for 500 hours, and then taken out and left at room temperature for 30 minutes) - (initial haze value (%))]
