Abstract:
This liquid crystalline polyester composition comprises: a liquid crystalline polyester; an olefin copolymer containing a repeating unit derived from an α-olefin, and a repeating unit derived from a glycidyl ester of an α,β-unsaturated acid; and a plate-shaped filler, wherein the contained amount of the liquid crystalline polyester is more than 50 mass% but not more than 80 mass%, the contained amount of the olefin copolymer is not less than 5 mass% but less than 20 mass%, and the contained amount of the plate-shaped filler is 15-30 mass%, with respect to 100 mass% of the sum of the contained amounts of the liquid crystalline polyester, the olefin copolymer, and the plate-shaped filler, and the ratio (V2/V1) of the apparent melt viscosity (V2) of the olefin copolymer to the apparent melt viscosity (V1) of the liquid crystalline polyester is more than 0.1 but not more than 3.0.
