Abstract:

Provided is a liquid level detection device capable of preventing erroneous liquid detection regardless of wiring length. This liquid detection device 100 comprises: at least two electrodes 30a, 30b, a square wave generation circuit 10, 20 that generates an AC voltage of a square wave having a prescribed period, connection wiring 40 connecting the two electrodes 30a, 30b and the square wave generation circuit 10, 20, a resistor R2 connected between the two electrodes 30a, 30b and the square wave generation circuit 10, 20, and a control unit 10 for detecting a liquid by measuring voltage dropping at the resistor R2. The control unit 10 measures voltage dropping during at least one prescribed period from among the period immediately before the rising of the square wave or the period immediately before the falling of the square wave.
