Abstract:
The burden of replacing a discharge unit is reduced in a carriage to which a plurality of discharge units can be attached. A liquid discharge device 1 is characterized by comprising a carriage 2 capable of moving back and forth relative to a medium, and a plurality of discharge units 4 that are attached to the carriage 2 and that discharge a liquid onto the medium, the carriage 2 being configured so that the discharge units 4 can be replaced in a plurality of replacement positions along a back-and-forth movement direction B of the carriage 2, and when the carriage 2 is in a replacement position, the discharge unit 4 being replaced can be accessed from a downstream side in a liquid discharge direction C.
