Abstract:
A liquid discharge device (100) to which a container affixed with a wireless tag can be mounted, said liquid discharge device comprising a plurality of container accommodation units to accommodate the containers, a reading device (190) to read information on the wireless tag on the container accommodated in the container accommodation unit, and a device control unit (141), wherein: the liquid classification for a product filling the container is stored on the wireless tag; the liquid classifications are categorized into a plurality of liquid groups; and in the case that the product with the liquid classification, which is on the wireless tag on the container accommodated in the container accommodation unit and which is read by the reading device, is not a product corresponding to the liquid group compatible with the container accommodation unit, the device control unit gives notification that the product is not a compatible product.
