Title:
LIQUID DISCHARGE DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/148307
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
One aspect of the present invention is a liquid discharge device provided with: a head (250) in which is formed a discharge port for discharging a liquid as droplets; a buffer tank (252) connected to the head (250) via a supply flow channel (212) and a recovery flow channel (312) and used for accommodating the liquid; a deaeration module (360) provided to the side having the supply flow channel (212); and a main tank (256) for storing the liquid supplied to the buffer tank (252) through a replenishing flow channel (398); the supply flow channel (212) being connected to a side surface of the buffer tank (252), the replenishing flow channel (398) passing through the side surface of the buffer tank (252), the replenishing flow channel (398) having an outlet opening into the buffer tank (252), and the liquid sent from the replenishing flow channel having speed when colliding with the inner wall surface of the buffer tank (252) that faces the outlet of the replenishing flow channel. In this liquid discharge device, the diffusion effect in the buffer tank can be improved.
