Abstract:
To provide a high-pressure cleaner that can stop a brushless motor even if microcomputer functionality has declined, this high-pressure cleaner (10), which is provided with a pump (12) that aspirates and discharges a cleaning liquid, and a brushless motor (14) to which electrical current is supplied and that drives the pump (12), has: an inverter circuit (29), driver circuit (30), and microcomputer (31) that control the rotational frequency of the brushless motor (14) in the case that the pump (12) is driven by the motive power of the brushless motor (14) and cleaning liquid is being discharged; and a motor operation halting circuit (37) that detects the discharge pressure of the pump (12), and on the basis of the detection results, turns on or off an electrical circuit (E1) that supplies electrical current to the brushless motor (14).
