Abstract:
A liquid discharge head (2) according to an embodiment comprises a head body (2a) having a first surface (41) that discharges a liquid and a second surface (42) that faces the first surface (41), a driver IC (55) disposed so as to be separated from the second surface (42) of the head body (2a), and a head cover (90) housing the driver IC (55) and covering at least the second surface (42) of the head body (2a), wherein: the head cover (90) has a top plate (91) that faces the second surface (42) of the head body (2a) and a first side plate (92) that extends in one direction, which is the direction facing toward the second surface (42) from the top plate (91); the first side plate (92) is in contact with the driver IC (55), and has a first site (921) that extends in the one direction and a second site (922) that is positioned in a section closer to the second surface (42) than the first site (921) is; and the second site (922) has a wide-diameter part (94) that has a diameter which increases toward the second surface (42).
