Abstract:

[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a liquid-discharging head capable of increasing the reliability of dummy pressurization chambers, and a printing device using same. [Solution] This liquid-discharging head is a liquid-discharging head (2) comprising: a flow channel member (4) with multiple discharge holes (8), multiple pressurization chambers (10), and dummy pressurization chambers (10D2); and a base plate (40) with multiple pressurizing parts (50). The liquid-discharging head is characterized in that: in the flow channel member (4), a pressurization chamber plate (4a), a dummy pressurization chamber plate (4b) and plates (4c-l) are stacked; the pressurization chamber plate (4a) has holes, the side surfaces of said holes are the side surfaces of the pressurization chambers (10), and the openings of said holes are the pressurization chamber openings; the dummy pressurization chamber plate (4b) has holes, the side surfaces of said holes are the side surfaces of the dummy pressurization chambers (10D2), and the openings of said holes are the dummy pressurization chamber openings; the multiple pressurization chamber openings are closed by the base plate (40); and the dummy pressurization chamber openings are closed by the pressurization chamber plate (4a).
