Description:
TITLE- Liquid dosing system

FIELD OF INVENTION- The disclosures made herein relate generally to self operated liquid dosing system system for Food, Confectionery, Fiber glass or Rubber, Lube Oil, Paint Manufacturing and Pharmaceutical Industry thereof.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Traditionally according to requirement at a same time it's imperative to take five different liquids material supplies with accurate weight. To maintain a uniform and high accuracy for transfer of each of the liquids separately and then add them into the Mixer. An automatic logic controlled dosing system however is much more fast, reliable and independent.

The present novel invention, Liquid Dosing System is used for many industrial applications like Food, Confectionery, Fiber glass or Rubber, Lube Oil, Paint Mfg., and Pharmaceutical Industry thereof.

There have been a variety of different types of system used for dosing of liquid material. For example, reference may be made to the following are- According to United States Patent Application 20080058771 /AU 2004/320944 Al (patent application)/WO 2006/000237 Al (patent application) wherein the present invention provides methods for the multiple dosage of one or more liquid products or both liquid and solid products wherein the dosing amount of at least one liquid product is measured by a weight cell. Moreover, dosing apparatus and dosing systems for applying those methods are provided. Additionally, the present invention refers to a method for washing textiles comprising a dosing step in which at least one of the inventive dosing methods, and/or at least one of the inventive dosing apparatus or dosing systems, respectively, are used.

According to United States Patent 3909205 wherein A pneumatic transfer system is provided for supplying liquid from a storage vessel to the reservoir of a doser which dispenses fixed quantities of a liquid and maintaining the level of liquid in the reservoir substantially constant. The doser reservoir is at a higher elevation than the storage vessel. The vessel is closed at the top to form an air bell above the level of storage liquid with two tubes extending downward through the storage liquid from the top of the vessel. One tube forms a liquid supply tube connected to the doser reservoir below the liquid level therein and the other tube is a pressure supply tube, connected to a source of pneumatic pressure with a pressure regulator connected to the pressure supply tube. The pressure regulator comprises a column of liquid open at the top having a tube therein with an upper end connected to the pressure supply tube and the lower end extending downward into the liquid supply, so that the height of the liquid column determines the level of liquid which is restored in the doser reservoir because the pressures in the two tubes are the same.

According to United States Patent 7357563 wherein Continuous stream ratio blending of two or more liquids. Each stream flow is time synchronized to all others and turned on and off to dose precise ratios into a constant pressure streams combining chamber. Combined on-off flows constitute a net flow rate exceeding some maximum continuous flow demand for the blended liquids. Dosed streams are pumped from the streams combining chamber at a rate matching their inflow, then through a mixing element into a finished blend tank. Use of a constant pressure streams combining chamber feeding a mix pump allows decoupling of individual streams ratio dosing flows and pressures one from another and from the combined stream. Blended liquid is available on demand as a continuous stream from the level controlled finished blend tank. The level sensor automatically starts and stops blended flow into the tank. Streams flow can be stopped upon completion of any dose cycle

According to United States Patent 6129104 /WIPO Patent Application WO/2000/037367 wherein A method for controlling the addition of liquid treatment chemicals by automatic dose control. The calculation of the amount of chemical to be dosed into the system combines signals from a liquid flow meter, an influent chemical concentration analyzer and/or an effluent chemical concentration analyzer. The signals are directed to a computerized chemical dose controller that analyzes and adjusts the data from the signals and generates ari output signal that controls the chemical dosing mechanisms. For example, the automatic dose control method encompasses the ability to set maximum positive and negative limits of control action as well as the ability to automatically or manually control the reset period necessary to allow previous changes to propagate through the system and be displayed at the effluent sensor thereby improving the dosing of the chemical during treatment of a liquid, wastewater for example.

As all the above prior arts, the present invention has several advantages and profit on commercial and economical basis. It has shown the efficiency and success on a large scale, hence proved as being applicable on industrial scale. The few advantages over the existing prior arts are following.

1. Human error free system operates without human presence after loading chemicals into the respective feeders.

2. Very high Dosing accuracy is achieved, thereby maintaining Consistent Product Quality

3. One single system serves multiple Process Centers and dosing quantity is as per the programmed recipe at each of the process centers.

4. Saving in Manpower and High Productivity achievement.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING

Figure 1 - P & I Diagram of different liquid material dosing system. STATEMENT OF INVENTION

It's very critical and important to weigh and then pneumatically transfer liquid material in appropriate quantity in any of the food processing or chemical industry operations especially biscuit manufacturing. In case of manual transferring and dosing of liquid material it becomes extremely difficult to maintain the consistency of the product.

In the case of Bakery, Chemical & Pharma Industry the process is manual. It needs up to minimum two and more different liquids of different weights. These liquid must be weighed first. It's hard to weigh each of the liquids separately without any error and then add them into the Mixer. For those reasons biscuit manufacturing productivity will be slow.

The solution of those problems can be sorted out by the automatic liquid dosing system .In this process persons evaluate each of the liquids individually and then add them into the Mixer. This is merely a labor-intensive procedure needing someone to attend every time a process demand arises.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION

Accordingly, in one aspect, this invention is based on liquid dosing system which is useful for Food, Confectionery, Fiber glass or Rubber, Lube Oil, Paint Mfg., and Pharmaceutical Industry thereof.

The system can transfer different liquid material supplies with accurate weight. To maintain a uniform and high accuracy for transfer of each of the liquids separately and then add them into the Mixer.

The entire process needs lots of manpower but this kind of problem can be solved by PLC (programmable logic controller (PLC) or programmable controller) which control and weigh the mixed liquid with the chemicals in the process tank and the pneumatic conveying system can supply different mixers at the same time according to requirement.

Programmable logic controller (PLC) or programmable controller

A programmable logic controller (PLC) or programmable controller is a digital computer used for automation of electromechanical processes, such as control of machinery on factory assembly lines,

We are using Programmable logic controller (PLC) because PLCs are armored for severe conditions (such as dust, moisture, heat, cold) and have the facility for extensive input/output (I/O) arrangements according to requirement. These connect the PLC to sensors and actuators. PLCs read limit switches, analog process variables (such as temperature and pressure), and the positions of complex positioning systems. PLCs operate electric motors, pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders, magnetic relays, solenoids, or analog outputs. The input/output arrangements may be built into a simple PLC, or the PLC may have external I/O modules attached to a computer network that plugs into the PLC.

The whole operation starting from programming

In the primary stage of PLC programs are typically written in a special application on a personal computer. This can supply programmed quantity of each of the liquid in to mixture. Human error free system operates without human presence after loading liquids into the respective feeders.

On demand from any of the process centers the liquid is pneumatically dispensed. PLC is programmed for Different ratios of liquids for different Recipes. Then downloaded by a direct-connection cable or over a network to the PLC. The program is stored in the PLC either in battery-backed-up RAM or some other non-volatile flash memory. Often, a single PLC can be programmed to replace thousands of relays that is also a additional point. PLCs are well-adapted to a range of automation tasks. One single system serves multiple Process Centers and dosing quantity is as per the programmed recipe at each of the process centers. By PLC can be control to very complex process, such as used in the chemical industry, may require algorithms and performance. Very high-speed or precision controls may also require customized solutions. It gives highly accurate result as compared to others. This system works to an accuracy of ± 100 Grams over 70 Kg. Very high Dosing accuracy is achieved, thereby maintaining Consistent Product Quality. The system eliminates human error and even human presence. It saves Manpower and High Productivity achievement. It is also applicable for Food, Confectionery, Fiber glass/Rubber, Lube Oil, Paint Mfg., and Pharmaceutical Industry thereof.
