Abstract:
Provided are a liquid droplet discharge head and liquid droplet discharge device with which head modules can be positioned with high accuracy using a simple configuration. An inkjet head (200) is provided with a displacement amount detecting means for detecting displacement amounts of head modules (210) mounted onto a base frame (212). The displacement amount detecting means is constituted by magnets provided to the head modules (210) and magnetic sensors provided to the base frame (212). The base frame (212) is provided with magnetic sensor-side memories (310) that store information for correcting the sensitivities of the magnetic sensors. The head modules (210) are provided with magnet-side memories (312) that store correction information for the sensitivities of the magnetic sensors, needed when the magnets provided to the head modules (210) are used. After the head modules (210) have been mounted onto the base frame (212), the information stored in the magnetic sensor-side memories (310) and the information stored in the magnet-side memories (312) is read out and the sensitivities of the magnetic sensors are corrected.
