Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a liquid-droplet discharging head unit, a method for adjusting the position of a liquid-droplet discharging head, and an image forming apparatus which exhibit excellent impact position precision for liquid droplets on a recording medium and which enable easy adjustment of the positional precision. This liquid-droplet discharging head unit is characterized by comprising a liquid-droplet discharging head 2 for discharging liquid droplets, a holding section 3, a housing 53 that can be rotated by a rotation shaft member 52, an adjustment screw 54, and a position adjusting section 51 provided in the housing 53, and by satisfying formula (1). (d1 represents the distance from the center of the rotation shaft member 52 to a contact portion between the adjustment screw 54 and the housing 53. θ1 represents the angle, from the axis that passes through the center of the rotation shaft member 52 and is parallel to the moving direction of the liquid-droplet discharging head 2, to the contact portion between the adjustment screw 54 and the housing 53. d2 represents the distance from the center of the rotation shaft member 52 to a reference portion B1. θ2 represents the angle, from the axis that passes through the center of the rotation shaft member 52 and is parallel to the moving direction of the liquid-droplet discharging head 2, to the reference portion B1.)
