Abstract:
In order to provide an excellent liquid-filled vibration damping apparatus capable of effectively suppressing cavitation that is a cause of abnormal noise generation, without impairing a vibration damping effect, this liquid-filled vibration damping apparatus is provided with: a liquid sealed space that is partitioned into a main liquid chamber (25) and an auxiliary liquid chamber (26), which communicate with each through an orifice (27); a vulcanized rubber molded body (22) that forms part of the liquid sealed space; and a first holding member (20) and a second holding member (21) that hold the vulcanized rubber molded body (22). A liquid (P) enclosed in the liquid sealed space is mainly composed of a polar organic solvent, and is constituted such that at least 0.2 cm3 of a gas per 1 cm3 of the liquid is dissolved in the liquid as a dissolved gas at normal temperature and under atmospheric pressure.
