Abstract:
The invention relates to a liquid fuel burner, in particular for a vehicle heating device (12), comprising a combustion chamber (14), a combustion chamber pipe (18) which is made of sheet metal, especially sheet steel, and at least partially delimits the combustion chamber (14) along an axial direction (16), a porous evaporator element (22) that delimits a zone of the combustion chamber (14), and a glow plug (24) which penetrates the porous evaporator element (22) and protrudes into the combustion chamber (14) in the axial direction (16). According to the invention, combustion chamber bores (20, 20'), via which combustion air (38) is fed to the combustion chamber (14), are arranged within the sheet metal combustion chamber pipe (18).
