Abstract:
Provided is a liquid level detection device capable of suppressing holder deformation due to float arm deformation, and improving reliability of electrical connection between a circuit board and a contact point.
A liquid level detection device F is provided with: a float arm 3, which has, at one end, a float that moves in accordance with a liquid level, and a shaft section 3A at the other end; a holder 2, which rotates with the movement of the float, and which is provided with first and second locking sections 2D1 and 2D2 that hold the float arm 3, and a connecting section 2C that connects to each other two insertion sections 2F and 2B1, through which the shaft section 3A is inserted; a circuit board 4 fixed to the holder 2; a terminal 5 that is provided with a contact point 5A in contact with an electrode section of the circuit board 4; and a frame 1 for rotatably supporting the holder by means of a bearing section 14, which is positioned between the two insertion sections 2F and 2B1, and which rotatably supports the shaft section 5, said frame holding the terminal 5. The liquid level detection device is also provided with a reinforcing section 2J that reaches the insertion section 2F from the first and second locking sections 2D1 and 2D2.
